The Thomas Edison difference
An East Texas electrician from Thomas Edison Electric already knows this pocket of Lehigh County, ZIP 18046, between Macungie 2.2 miles out, Trexlertown 2.3, Alburtis 3.3 and Emmaus 3.4. Every electrician we send is our own employee, never a subcontractor, and each drives a fully stocked TEE van out from home.
Pennsylvania license PA075449 and full insurance cover every visit, backed by more than 37,000 jobs completed since 2021. You get the price in writing before work begins. If we run late past the window we gave you, the dispatch fee comes off. Call 610-782-9000 any hour, 24/7, 365 days a year.
East Texas jobs go to a Thomas Edison employee, never a subcontractor filling in for the day.
Common in Lehigh County homes of a certain age, and routine work for us.
Service and meter changes route through PPL Electric Utilities, and we handle that scheduling.
The price is agreed before a single tool comes out of the van.
Miss the arrival window we promised and that charge disappears.
Nights, weekends and holidays included, with financing available if needed.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
There is no census record for East Texas specifically, so the pattern we follow is the one that holds across Lehigh County: aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels show up often. We check the panel brand first on any older home here.
Just as many calls involve a ceiling or attic fan that has stopped moving air, or breakers that trip whenever two things run at once, a sign we look at under amperage issues. Either way, the quote comes before the work.
Permits here fall under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and as in most of Lehigh County, the township contracts a third-party agency to review plans and inspect finished work. We manage that whole process, so you are not the one on the phone with an inspector's office.
PPL Electric Utilities serves East Texas. A panel upgrade or new meter base means scheduling a disconnect and reconnect with PPL, which we arrange directly. Line trouble out on the street is PPL's job. From the meter into the house, any hour, that work is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
