The Thomas Edison difference
New Tripoli electrician calls usually start the same way: an old fuse box, a breaker panel that can't keep up, or an outlet with no ground. Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 18066 in Lehigh County, from Germansville close by to Slatedale, Neffs and Slatington further out, all with our own crews, never a subcontractor.
The typical New Tripoli home dates to 1938, and we come prepared for what that means. We're licensed under PA075449, insured, and on call 24/7, 365 days a year. Every quote is written before we touch a tool, and if we're late, the dispatch fee is waived.
Fuse boxes, knob-and-tube remnants and 60-amp service are familiar work.
Every New Tripoli job goes to our own employees.
We size the fix to what your home actually needs.
No surprises once the work begins.
Nights, weekends and holidays, 365 days a year.
We hold to the window we promise you.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
A house built around 1938 in New Tripoli was wired for a different era: think knob-and-tube remnants tucked in the walls, an old fuse box instead of breakers, 60-amp service and outlets with no ground wire at all. None of that is rare here, and none of it needs to stay that way.
We check the amperage first, since 60 amps rarely covers a modern kitchen and central air together. From there it's usually a service upgrade, a new panel and grounding for the outlets that need it. A full safety inspection before you buy or renovate catches the rest.
New Tripoli's permits go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and like most townships in the state, plan review and inspections usually run through a third-party agency rather than an in-house building department. We handle the filing and the inspector's visit ourselves.
PPL Electric Utilities serves New Tripoli, with Met-Ed nearby in other parts of Lehigh County. A service upgrade or new panel means we schedule the disconnect and reconnect with PPL. Downed lines and outages belong to PPL. Everything past the meter, any hour, is ours to fix.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
